LaVar Ball is back on the scene, and he is issuing a challenge to the Charlotte Hornets.
The Charlotte Hornets are one of the most exciting young teams in the NBA, and it's thanks much in part to LaMelo Ball.
Ball has finally been able to stay healthy this season, and it's paying dividends, as he has the Hornets squarely in the Eastern Conference playoff race. Not only that, but Charlotte has been one of the best teams in basketball the last two-plus months.
LaVar Ball has surely taken notice of the Hornets, and while he loves what he has been seeing from his youngest son's squad, he has issued a demand to Charlotte: to put all three Ball brothers on the same team.
"Charlotte's got a great chance. If they see this, I dare them: they need to get all three of y'all," LaVar said on the Ball in the Family podcast. "Because I guarantee the game will be so fast that you can't keep up with it."
Lonzo Ball began the season with the Cleveland Cavaliers, but was traded to the Utah Jazz at the deadline and waived. He is currently without a team.

"They became the best team ever in high school as babies. What you think they can do as grown men?" LaVar added.
He then went on to say the Hornets would score 40 to 50 points per quarter playing the style the Ball brothers did in high school, which is probably a bit of an exaggeration ... but this is LaVar we are talking about.
Charlotte has a great young core behind LaMelo, as well. Brandon Miller and Kon Knueppel have both been incredibly impressive, and big men Ryan Kalkbrenner and Moussa Diabate have flown under the radar alongside of them.
The Hornets also acquired Coby White back at the trade deadline, and fellow youngsters Sion James and Tidjane Salaun have flashed potential, as well.
Would adding the remaining two Ball brothers elevate Charlotte? Let's be honest: probably not, but it would at least represent a great story.
