It's safe to say that Miles Bridges loves playing for Charlotte Hornets head coach Charles Lee.

We are going to go out on a limb and say that Miles Bridges loves playing for Charlotte Hornets head coach Charles Lee.

After the Hornets beat the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday (3/21), Bridges spoke about how impactful Lee has been this season.

"He holds everybody accountable," Bridges said about lee. "That's his special thing about coaching. Some coaches are scared to hold their star players accountable and he holds everybody accountable. I feel like it's showing on the court."

Behind Lee, Bridges, LaMelo Ball and Kon Knueppel, the Hornets are having a great season. They are 37-34 and in 10th place in the Eastern Conference standings.

Bridges is averaging 17.3 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.3 assists per game on the season while shooting 44.9% from the field, 33.2% from beyond the arc and 82.7% from the free-throw line.

If the Hornets are the 10th seed when the regular season ends, they would need to win two play-in games to make the 2026 playoffs. Charlotte hasn't made the playoffs since 2016.

Bridges is having a great season for the Hornets, but it starts and stops with Ball, one of the top scorers and passers in the NBA. The All-Star is averaging 19.7 points, 4.8 rebounds and 7.1 assists per game while shooting 40.5% from the field, 36.7% from beyond the arc and 89.3% from the free-throw line.

"His spirit is so infectious and contagious around our building," Lee said about Ball, via the Charlotte Observer. "There's just so much joy that he brings. His teammates love him. They love being around him. â€¦ He is one of those guys that's so open-minded to being coached. He's still hungry to learn. And because you're able to coach your best players hard and consistently, it makes everybody else around him also realize that they can also get coached, too. So, it creates a good environment where I think everybody understands it's not personal. It's all in an effort to help us get better."
