Report: East Team Interested in Trading for Charlotte Hornets' Miles Bridges cover image

Charlotte Hornets veteran Miles Bridges is receiving trade interest.

An Eastern Conference team is interested in trading for Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges.

According to NBA insider Matt Moore, Bridges is drawing interest from the Milwaukee Bucks, who are looking to acquire more talent around superstar Giannis Antetokounmpo.

Bridges has appeared in 39 games this season. He's averaging 19.5 points, 6.4 rebounds 3.7 assists per game while shooting 44.3% from the field, 33.3% from beyond the arc and 84.6% from the free-throw line.

The 27-year-old Bridges is making $25 million this season. He'll make $22.8 million next season in the final year of his contract.

The Hornets are 14-26. They are in 12th place in the Eastern Conference standings.

Meanwhile, the Bucks are 17-22. They are in 11th place in the East despite Antetokounmpo putting up incredible numbers. The two-time MVP is averaging 29.2 points, 9.8 rebounds and 5.7 assists per game.

Many people in the NBA believe the Hornets should trade Bridges and LaMelo Ball and build around Kon Knueppel and Brandon Miller.

It will be fascinating to see if the Hornets trade Bridges before the 2026 NBA trade deadline, which is February 5. Bridges has spent his entire career in Charlotte. He holds career averages of 16.0 points, 6.2 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game.
