The First Ever Hornets Roundtable Podcast Recaps the NBA Offseason

Josh Graham and Will Dalton co-hosts the first ever edition of the Hornets Roundtable podcast, which will release new episodes every week. On the inaugural episode, Graham and Dalton dissect the Charlotte Hornets’ offseason.

The conversation started with the some of Charlotte’s acquisitions, namely the NBA draft — where the Hornets selected Duke star Kon Knueppel with the fourth overall pick.

A few weeks later, the Hornets won the Summer League Championship in Las Vegas. Prior to this year, the team had never even advanced to the Summer League playoffs.

As was discussed on the podcast, this is a continuation of a positive year for the Hornets organization. In the spring, Charlotte’s G League team — the Greensboro Swarm — made their first-ever postseason appearance in their nine seasons.

The positive wave for the Hornets begun with the change in ownership and selection of Brandon Miller. And then, last year, Charlotte hired the respected general-manager-head coach combo of Jeff Peterson and Charles Lee.

The Hornets’ schedule, which was released in the last few weeks, was the next topic of conversation. A few dates on the calendar stand out, including their opener and a noteworthy New Years Eve visit by Steph Curry.

Don’t look now, but the NBA preseason is a little more than three weeks away. So to recap the show, the discussion turned to expectations for the Hornets heading into 2025-2026.

In addition to the Hornets Roundtable Podcast, Graham and Dalton will also host weekly podcasts for other local teams in the state of North Carolina. Elsewhere in the professional ranks, they will produce content focusing on the Carolina Panthers. In college sports, they are the hosts of the Tar Heel Roundtable and Blue Devil Roundtable podcasts.
