The Hornets Roundtable Podcast Recaps This Week's Media Day in Uptown Charlotte.

Josh Graham and Will Dalton co-hosts the Hornets Roundtable podcast, which will release new episodes every week on the site. Here were the topics discussed on this week’s pod:

    • LaMelo Ball speaks. More specifically, Ball spoke about his initial impressions of rookie Kon Knueppel. That answer prompted questions about Ball's movie acumen and interest — or lack thereof — in college basketball.
    • Miles Bridges hits the weight room. In addition to applauding Ball's work ethic off the court, Bridges said he was in the best shape that he's been in. The podcast then discussed — if true — what that might mean for Bridges' production.
    • Kon Knueppel's NBA profile. When the No. 4 pick in June's draft spoke on Monday, his devotion to basketball and professionalism — despite his young age — was on full display.
    • Rare media availability for Hornets general manager Jeff Peterson. Among the topics he addressed were Mark Williams being dealt, Nick Smith's release and a game Peterson scouted that helped sell him on Kneuppel. In addition to Peterson, Hornets second-year head coach Charles Lee met with the media as well.
    • The Hornets' team identity. Dalton and Graham broke down the style of play Charlotte might play given the personnel on the roster. Also, the podcast looked at the talent hierarchy in Charlotte and examined the leadership dynamics between Ball and fellow star Brandon Miller.

In addition to the Hornets Roundtable Podcast, Graham and Dalton will also host weekly podcasts for other local teams in the state of North Carolina.

Elsewhere in Charlotte, they will host a weekly podcast focused on the Carolina Panthers. In the collegiate ranks, they will also host podcasts covering UNC and Duke athletics.

Roundtable would love to engage with you on the Hornets. Please comment on our posts, follow Graham (@JoshGrahamShow) and Dalton (@TheWillDalton) on X and Instagram or create your own community posts.
