A high-motor freshman with a massive wingspan, the former five-star prospect offers elite rebounding and efficiency as Sacramento hunts for second-round value to bolster their frontcourt depth.

After landing the No. 7 overall pick in the upcoming NBA Draft, the Sacramento Kings have two additional second rounders, looking to find value later on in this talented and deep class.

At KingsRoundtable, we will continue to find dive into some of these prospects projected to go late in the first round or picks 31-60, including Texas forward Dailyn SwainKentucky center Malachi Moreno, and St. John's forward Dillon Mitchell.

In this profile, we will take a look at Kansas/Louisville forward Flory Bidunga, who recently committed to the Cardinals, but remains undecided about his future.

Versatility and Youth

As a highly touted freshman prospect with the Jayhawks, Bidunga started just six games, backing up current New Orleans Pelicans big man Hunter Dickinson.

But, he showed flashes of what 5-star potential he brought to Lawrence, KS.

This past season, Bidunga held down Kansas during projected top-3 pick Darryn Peterson's absences, averaging 14.7 points per game on 62.3% shooting splits prior to conference play.

When Peterson was more available, Bidunga remained effective, while increasing his efficiency and hauling in nine rebounds per game.

Looming Decision

Bidunga was the No. 1 ranked player in the transfer portal, according to 247 Sports, commanding the attention of many blue-chip programs.

With some reports estimating Bidunga could make close to $5 million by staying an extra season with his lucrative Louisville deal, which could be more than double his NBA contract.

However, Bidunga could benefit from landing in the right system and beginning to develop with the best coaches, teammates, and opponents in the world.

Consistency is Key

Bidunga is one of those guys that you can count on for maximum effort and tenacity on the glass, something that is becoming more valuable again at the next level.

Last season, the 6-foot-10 forward recorded four-game streaks with double-digit rebounds on two separate occasions, recording double-doubles in seven of his nine appearances.

Bidunga understands his role and ability and plays within himself, while possessing the skillset and length to continue to develop into more on the offensive end.

Draft Projection

After measuring in with a 7-foot-3 wingspan at the Draft Combine, Bidunga's draft stock may continue to rise.

In ESPN's post-lottery mock, Bidunga was taken No. 41 overall by the Miami Heat

Are Kings a Fit?

Bidunga's effort and energy make him an instant fit on any team, although the Kings front court is a bit crowded.

The Kansas standout could play a role similar to Dylan Cardwell, while providing more offensive upside and efficiency.
