The Houston star continues to garner pre-draft top 10 hype. One mock draft calls him a Kings fit here.

The Sacramento Kings continue to leave fans wondering where they'll land in the NBA draft lottery on May 10.

One brand new mock draft released Wednesday handed Sacramento top five love. Plus handed the franchise Kingston Flemings of Houston.

Flemings to Sacramento has been mentioned before by KingsRoundtable. But USA Today this time believes the Cougars star and Sacramento are a pairing.

Only this time Bryan Kalbrosky of USA Today believes Flemings becomes "the best player available" at this projected spot Sacramento lands.

"The Kings need the best player available regardless of fit and if they are on the clock at No. 5 overall, that pick is probably Houston freshman Kingston Flemings," Kalbrosky wrote.

He added why he believes Flemings is a fit at No. 5.

"The All-Big 12 guard has several games when he has recorded at least three steals, notching eight against Arizona State earlier this season," Kalbrosky said.

He mentioned one game that cemented Flemings' pre-NBA potential, which saw him light up a nationally-ranked conference foe.

"He scored 42 points against No. 11 Texas Tech on Jan. 24. Flemings helped lead Houston to the Sweet 16, and with highs as high as his were this season, it will not take long for him to hear his name called on draft night," Kalbrosky wrote.

Flemings and the Kings, again, have been mentioned as a recent pairing before via Matthew Feldman of Roundtable back on April 14.

"Flemings is a true 3-level scorer, displaying the ability to get to the rim, pull up in the mid-range and knock down the deep ball, shooting at a 38.7-percent clip. His 3-point shooting was much improved throughout the season, as his attempts looked more confident and comfortable as the year went on," Feldman wrote in his pre-draft evaluation.

Feldman added how Flemings presents rare skill for a guard.

"For a guard, Flemings has great lift on his jump shot, paired with a natural athleticism that allows him to shoot over the top of contesting defenders. He is also explosive when attacking the rim, possessing the ability and twitchiness to make adjustments mid-air," Feldman added.

Feldman concluded how Flemings "needs to continue to work on his 3-point shot to reach the high-level shooting standards of the NBA. His percentages are solid, but his attempts were limited, averaging just about three attempts and one make per outing."

But it's looking likely he'll land inside the top 10 somewhere.
