Taking a look at who could be the top three perimeter shooters for the Sacramento Kings next season.
The Sacramento Kings have a variety of solid scorers on the roster, but in particular there are a few players who do a great job of stretching the floor from the perimeter.
With that in mind, it is time to project the top three perimeter shooters for the Kings heading into next season.
1. Darius Acuff Jr., Guard
To start, rookie guard Darius Acuff Jr. will be among the top three-point shooters on the Kings and has a very good chance to actually lead the team.
In 2025 with the Arkansas Razorbacks, Acuff was quite effective from beyond the arc, as he converted on 44 percent of his attempts. Overall, Acuff shot 91-for-207 from three which was quite impressive, especially for a freshman playing in the SEC.
As a rookie, Acuff is expected to start at point guard for the Kings which does mean he will handle the ball a lot and will have a lot of input in the offense and how productive it is.
With that said, when Sacramento does need a three, Acuff has the talent to create that shot off the dribble with his speed and ball-handling, but he can also make it happen in catch-and-shoot opportunities. So, as Acuff heads into his rookie season, he could very well become a top perimeter shooter for the Kings.
2. Zach LaVine, Guard
Next up is veteran guard Zach LaVine who was solid for the Kings from the perimeter when he was available as he was limited to just 39 games.
During the 2025 season, LaVine shot 39 percent from three, which had him convert on 125 of his 142 attempts from beyond the arc.
As a scorer, LaVine has the ability to score from all over the floor, but his three-point shooting is something that can really help him to put this Sacramento offense in a good position with his ability to create for himself or wait for the shot to come to him.
For LaVine's career, he is a 39.1 percent three-point shooter, so he is very consistent, and heading into 2026, that should not change, so do not be surprised if he is once again one of the best perimeter shooters for the Kings.
3. Malik Monk, Guard
The third player on this list is guard Malik Monk who is solid and consistent player for the Kings off the bench.
Throughout the 2025 season, Sacramento was able to rely on Monk from the perimeter as he shot 39.5 percent from three and actually converted on 124 of his 314 attempts from three-point range.
For Monk, he has become a very consistent scorer, and that is showcased by his career three-point percentage of 35.5, which forces defenses to respect him from the perimeter, whether that be off the dribble or in a catch-and-shoot situation.
Heading into 2026, Monk should once again be a great scorer off the bench for the Kings and could end up getting up to the 40 percent mark from three, which would be the second time in his career and would very likely make him one of the best perimeter shooters for Sacramento.
