
The New York Knicks have set their injury report for game two against the Philadelphia 76ers.
The New York Knicks look to take a 2-0 series lead on Wednesday when they host the Philadelphia 76ers in game two.
The Knicks ran away with game one, 137-98, taking advantage of a 76ers team that looked tired after coming back down 3-1 and going seven games with the Boston Celtics in round one.
After a back-and-forth first quarter that saw ten lead changes and three ties, the Knicks took an eight-point lead into the second quarter. They built on things from there, outscoring the Sixers 41-26 in the second quarter. The Knicks led by as many as 40 before ultimately winning by 39.
The Knicks lead the series 1-0. Game two begins at 7 PM ET at Madison Square Garden.
New York Knicks Injury Report
The Knicks have a clean injury report with no one list. Jeremy Sochan was questionable going into game one and did not play despite the blowout. He is off the injury report for game two.
The Knicks were led by Jalen Brunson in game one. The Knicks All-Star finished with 35 points on 12-18 shooting and 3-6 from three. He added three assists. OG Anunoby had 18 points on 7-8 shooting to go along with three rebounds. Karl-Anthony Towns had another all-around game with 17 points, six rebounds, and six assists. Mikal Bridges looked back in form with 17 points on 7-10 shooting and five assists. Josh Hart was the only starter not in double figures, finishing with eight points, eight rebounds, and six assists.
Plenty of players got run off the bench in the blowout, but expect to see Mitchell Robinson, Jordan Clarkson, and Miles McBride as the top players off the bench in game two. Ariel Hukporti did play the most minutes off the bench in game one, playing 18 minutes.
Philadelphia 76ers Injury Report
Joel Embiid is OUT with a right ankle sprain and right hip soreness. Embiid played 25 minutes in game one, but struggled from the field, shooting 3-11. He finished the game with 14 points and four rebounds.
Tyrese Maxey is AVAILABLE with a right finger tendon strain. He will be wearing a splint. Maxey has been wearing a splint since the end of the season. He shot 3-9 from the field and 0-3 from three, finishing with 13 points, three rebounds, and two assists.
Paul George had 17 points, shooting 4-6 from three, along with three rebounds and three assists. Kelly Oubre Jr had 12 points and five rebounds, and VJ Edgecombe had 12 points, putting all five starters in double figures.
The Sixers went deep into their bench in the blow, but Quentin Grimes and Andre Drummond are the most likely to play in a close game.
