
The New York Knicks release their injury report ahead of game four against the Philadelphia 76ers.
The New York Knicks look to finish off the Philadelphia 76ers in their second round series on Sunday.
The Knicks took game three, 108-94, holding the Sixers to their lowest total of the series with another defensive masterclass. The Sixers jumped out to an early lead, going up by as many as 12 points in the first quarter. The Knicks battled back, taking the lead early in the second quarter and never looking back. The Knicks led by as many as 16 midway through the fourth as they cruised into their sixth straight playoff victory.
The Knicks lead the series 3-0 and can sweep on Sunday. Game four takes place at Xfinity Mobile Arena and begins at 3:30 PM ET.
New York Knicks Injury Report
OG Anunoby is QUESTIONABLE with a right hamstring strain. Anunoby suffered the injury late in game two, and missed game three. He is averaging 21.4 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in eight playoff games while shooting 61% from the field and 53% from three. He has also been one of New York's top defenders, averaging 1.9 steals and 1.1 blocks per game.
Miles McBride drew the start in place of Anunoby in game three. He played 21 minutes, but struggled with his shot, going 1-6 from the field and 1-5 from three for just three points.
Jalen Brunson led the Knicks in scoring, pouring in 33 points to go along with five rebounds and nine assists.
Mikal Bridges had another big game, playing 37 minutes and finishing with 23 points, three rebounds, and one assist.
Josh Hart had 12 points, 11 rebounds, and three assists while Karl-Anthony Towns had eight points, 12 rebounds, and seven assists.
Mitchell Robinson, Jordan Clarkson, and Landry Shamet all played more than 13 minutes off the bench. Shamet had 15 points on 5-6 shooting.
Philadelphia 76ers Injury Report
Joel Embiid is PROBABLE with right hip soreness. Embiid missed game two, but returned for game three, playing 35 minutes and finishing with 18 points, six rebounds, and five assists.
Tyrese Maxey is AVAILABLE with a right finger tendon strain. He will be wearing a splint. Maxey has been wearing a splint since the final weeks of the regular season. He had 17 points, two rebounds, and seven assists in game three.
Embiid and Maxey will start alongside Kelly Oubre Jr, Paul George, and VJ Edgecombe.
Quinten Grimes and Dominick Barlow were the only two bench players to receive more than four minutes of playing time in game three.
