Knicks Could Be Without Josh Hart Against Blazers cover image

Josh Hart has popped up on the injury report for the New York Knicks ahead of the Portland Trail Blazers game.

The New York Knicks look to keep up their momentum on Friday as they welcome the Portland Trail Blazers to the Garden. 

The Knicks have won four straight games, and are coming off a 119-92 victory against the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday. After traveling to Toronto, they'll spend the next two games at home before hitting the road once again. 

The Blazers have lost three straight games, dropping their last contest to the Washington Wizards, 115-111. They are seeking a victory as they wrap up a three-game road trip against the Knicks before returning home. 

This is the second and final meeting of the season between the Blazers and Knicks. The Knicks won, 123-114, on January 11. 

New York Knicks Injury Report

Knicks guard Josh Hart is listed as QUESTIONABLE with right ankle soreness. 

Hart has played in five straight games and played 35 minutes against the Raptors. He finished with 22 points, five rebounds, and six assists. The Knicks are 24-12 with Hart in the lineup. 

On the season, Hart is averaging 12.1 points, 7.8 rebounds, and 5.2 assists in 36 games. 

Miles McBride is also DOUBTFUL with left ankle injury management. McBride missed the game against the Raptors. He missed eight games in December, but had played in 15 straight before being out against the Raptors. 

McBride is averaging 12.9 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 2.8 assists while shooting a career high 42% from three in 35 games this season. 

Pacome Dadiet, Trey Jemison III, Dillon Jones, and Kevin McCullar Jr are all listed as QUESTIONABLE on G-League two-way deals or assignment. 

Portland Trail Blazers Injury Report

The Blazers could be missing Deni Avdija from their lineup as he is QUESTIONABLE with a low back strain. 

He missed two straight games and five of the last eight, but was in the lineup against the Wizards. He played 30 minutes, scoring 17 points and grabbing 12 rebounds. 

Avdija is having a breakout season, averaging a career high 25.8 points and getting to the line nearly ten times a game. 

Robert Williams III is also QUESTIONABLE with left knee injury management. Williams has played every other game for the last six games, missing the most recent contest against the Wizards. 

The eight-year pro has played in 32 contests this season, averaging six points and 6.2 rebounds. He played in just 26 games combined in the last two seasons due to injuries. 

Duop Reath is OUT with a right foot stress fracture. He's been out since January 18 and underwent season ending surgery on January 29. 

Matisse Thybulle is OUT with right knee tendinopathy. He's played in just four games this season and is out indefinitely. 

Blake Wesley is OUT with a right foot fracture. He was expected to miss two to three months as of November 5. 

Kris Murray is OUT with a lumbar strain and has been sidelined since January 5. 

Scott Henderson, who has not played all season, is OUT with a left hamstring tear. 

Finally, Damian Lillard is out with a left Achilles tendon injury and isn't expected to return this season.
