Julius Randle returned to New York on Wednesday night, but the moment belonged to the Knicks

The story on Wednesday night between the New York Knicks and Minnesota Timberwolves was the return of Julius Randle in New York, but the bigger story was how the Knicks absolutely dominated the Timberwolves to remain an undefeated 5-0 at home.

The Knicks finished the night with a final score of 137-114, with OG Anunoby leading the way with 25 points, 8 rebounds, 2 steals, 1 assist, and 1 block on 59/60/100 shooting from the field. Six different Knicks players scored in double digits, including OG Anunoby, Karl-Anthony Towns, Mikal Bridges, Jalen Brunson, Josh Hart, and Miles McBride.

Meanwhile, for the Timberwolves, Julius Randle led the way with 32 points, 5 rebounds, and 4 assists on 57/50/100 shooting from the field. The Timberwolves had Anthony Edwards return after a lengthy absence, but it didn't matter when the Knicks scored 83 points in the second half.

How Are the Knicks so Good at Home?

Surprisingly, the Knicks have lost every road game and won every home game this season. Their five home wins are against the Cleveland Cavaliers, Boston Celtics, Chicago Bulls, Washington Wizards, and Minnesota Timberwolves. Their three losses are against the Miami Heat, Milwaukee Bucks, and Chicago Bulls. Four of their five home wins have been very impressive.

After Wednesday night's win, Knicks superstar Jalen Brunson showed love to the home crowd that's helped propel their undefeated streak.

"I think we're growing, we're learning," Brunson said. "Obviously, playing at home is a big factor. When we get back on the road, we gotta focus up even harder than we do at home and find a way to win. The energy at home is great. Playing in front of these fans is awesome."

What's Next for the New York Knicks?

The Knicks have a major opportunity to go on a winning streak over their next four games. The team will have a four-game homestand against the Brooklyn Nets, Memphis Grizzlies, Orlando Magic, and Miami Heat. For the most part, all four of these games are ones in which the Knicks should be heavily favored in.

After the homestand, the Knicks spend the next five games on the road. Considering that the Knicks have yet to win a single game on the road, winning their next four games is incredibly important. At the same time, their five-game road trip is very winnable, with games against the Miami Heat, Dallas Mavericks, Orlando Magic, Brooklyn Nets, and Charlotte Hornets.
