The Detroit Pistons could be shorthanded against the New York Knicks.
The New York Knicks are still seeking their first win of the season, and now they host the undefeated Detroit Pistons at Madison Square Garden on Tuesday. The game tips off at 7 PM ET and will air on NBC/Peacock, MSG, and DAZN-MSG.
The Knicks are coming off a 111-102 loss to the Orlando Magic, sending them to 0-3 on the year with losses to the Philadelphia 76ers, Boston Celtics, and Magic. They are the third defending champions to start the season 0-3 since the 2011-12 Dallas Mavericks started 0-4. They’ll hit the road for two games after this one.
The Pistons have started the season 3-0 with victories over the Boston Celtics, Miami Heat, and Philadelphia 76ers. Last year’s number one seed in the East has picked up where they left off in the regular season to begin the year, and now looks to sweep their three-game road trip against the Knicks before returning home.
This is the first meeting of the season between the two squads.
