The New York Knicks set their injury report for game two of the NBA Finals.
The New York Knicks look to take a 2-0 series lead in the NBA Finals against the San Antonio Spurs on Friday.
The Knicks stole game one in San Antonio, 105-95, coming back from down 14 in the third quarter to stun the Spurs. The Knicks got off to a strong start, but the Spurs rallied in the second quarter to take a lead into halftime. The Spurs went up double digits in the third quarter, but the Knicks punched back to tie the game by the start of the fourth quarter.
OG Anunoby and Jalen Brunson led the charge in the fourth, scoring a combined 25 points to lead the Spurs to victory.
The Knicks lead the series 1-0. Game two takes place at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio with an 8:30 PM ET start.
New York Knicks Injury Report
Mitchell Robinson is PROBABLE with a fractured right hand 5th metacarpal. Robinson was questionable going into game one, but ultimately played 13 minutes off the bench. He finished with two points and six rebounds.
Brunson scored 30 points in game one to go along with three rebounds and two assists. Towns had 18 points and 12 rebounds while Onunoby had 17 points. Hart scored only three points, but was a game high +22, contributing 15 rebounds, six assists, and four steals. Bridges had nine points.
Landry Shamet, Miles McBride, Robinson, Jose Alvarado, and Jordan Clarkson all got time off the bench. Shamet scored 13 points, knocking down a couple of threes.
San Antonio Spurs Injury Report
The Spurs once again have a clean injury report with no one listed.
They will start Stephon Castle, De'Aaron Fox, Devin Vassell, Julian Champagnie, and Victor Wembanyama.
Wembanyama had 26 points and 12 rebounds in game one, but shot 6-21 from the field and had six turnovers. Castle had 17 points and eight rebounds while Champagnie had 16 points and ten rebounds, hitting five threes.
Vassell finished with nine points and nine rebounds, and Fox had seven points and five assists.
Dylan Harper, Keldon Johnson, Luke Kornet, Harrison Barnes, and Carter Bryant were all utilized off the bench. Harper finished with 16 points and eight rebounds. The rest of the bench squad combined for four points, with Johnson scoring three and Bryant scoring one.
