The Pelicans lost their last contest to the Cavaliers, 111-106, snapping their three game win streak. They are 6-4 in their last ten games. They are still alive for a Play-In spot, sitting 11th in the West with a 25-47 record. They are nine games out of the final Play-In spot, which is occupied by the Golden State Warriors.
The Knicks won the only other meeting of the season between the two teams, 130-125, on December 29. They will not meet again this season.
New York Knicks Injury Report
Landry Shamet is OUT with a right knee tibial plateau contusion. He missed the last game against the Wizards, his first missed game since January 14. He is averaging 9.6 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 1.5 assists while shooting 38% from three in 46 games.
Miles McBride is OUT after undergoing pelvic core muscle surgery in February. He is expected to be out until the playoffs. In 35 games this season, he is averaging 12.9 points, 2.6 rebounds, and 2.8 assists.
Josh Hart is completely off the injury report. He missed the March 20 game against the Nets, but played 28 minutes against the Wizards.
The Knicks will start Mikal Bridges, OG Anunoby, Jalen Brunson, Hart, and Karl-Anthony Towns. Jordan Clarkson, Mohamed Diaware, Mitchell Robinson, and Jose Alvarado will play key minutes coming off the bench.
Trey Jemison III, Dillon Jones, and Kevin McCullar Jr are QUESTIONABLE on G-League two-way deals.
New Orleans Pelicans Injury Report
Bryce McGowens is OUT with a right small toe fracture. He's been sidelined since March 8. There is no timetable for his return. In 42 games this season, he is averaging 8.1 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 1.5 assists.
The Pelicans are expected to start Trey Murphy III, Saddiq Bey, Zion Williamson, Herbert Jones, and Dejounte Murray. Yves Missi, Jeremiah Fears, Derik Queen, and Karlo Matkovic will come off the bench.
Trey Alexander, Hunter Dickinson, and Josh Oduro are all OUT on G-League two-way deals.
