The New York Knicks release their injury report ahead of game five against the Atlanta Hawks.

The New York Knicks host the Atlanta Hawks for game five of their Eastern Conference first round series. 

After loses games two and three by one point, the Knicks bounced back in game four, 114-98. New York jumped out to a 27-20 lead in the first quarter, and never looked back. They pushed their lead as high as 24 in the fourth quarter. The Knicks were feuled by a hot night from beyond the arc, knocking down 45% of their threes and shooting 49% overall from the field. 

The best of seven series is tied 2-2. Game five takes place at Madison Square Garden at 8 PM ET. 

New York Knicks Injury Report

The Knicks once again have a clean injury report. 

Despite head coach Mike Brown teasing that a starting lineup change was on the table after game three, no changes were for game four as the Knicks went with Jalen Brunson, Mikal Bridges, Karl-Anthony Towns, OG Anunoby, and Josh Hart. 

Four of the five starters scoring in double figures, led by Anunoby, who had 22 points to go along with ten rebounds and one assist. Towns recorded a triple-double with 20 points, ten rebounds, and ten assists. Hart had ten points, nine rebounds, and three assists. Brunson had a quiet 19 points. Bridges finished with eight points. 

Off the bench, Miles McBride scored 11 points, knocking down three threes. Jose Alvardo, Jordan Clarkson, and Mitchell Robinson are expected to play significant minutes off the bench. They combined for 19 points in game four. 

Atlanta Hawks Injury Report

Jock Landale is OUT with a right high ankle sprain. He's been out since April 1. On April 16, the Hawks announced that Landale was expected to miss at least two more weeks. That would rule him out for the rest of the first round. He was acquired by the Hawks from the Utah Jazz at the trade deadline. In 23 games with Atlanta, he averaged 9.1 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.7 assists. 

The Hawks are expected to keep their same straight group of Dyson Daniels, Jalen Johnson, Onyeka Okongwu, Nickeil Alexander-Walker, and CJ McCollum. 

McCollum led the team in scoring in game four, contributing 17 points, but going 0-4 from three. Alexander-Walker had 15 points, knocking down five threes. Okongwu had 12 points while Johnson had 14 points. 

Jonathan Kuminga scored ten points off the bench. Gabe Vincent, Corey Kispert, and Mouhamed Gueye all played significant minutes off the bench in game four.
