The New York Knicks continued to remain dominant as they defeated the Washington Wizards by 31 points

The New York Knicks' four-game losing streak is now a thing of the past, as this team is playing its best basketball as of late. Ranking third in the Eastern Conference in both points scored and allowed per game, the Knicks are making it hard for their front office to justify changing things up with a blockbuster deal.

On Tuesday night, they headed to Washington to face the Wizards for a quick one-game trip, looking to extend their winning streak to seven games before having to turn around and host the Denver Nuggets on Wednesday. With all the odds in their favor, they took care of business.

Knicks Dominate Wizards En Route To Seven-Straight Win

The Knicks flat-out executed on Tuesday, having 34 assists on 47 made baskets, shooting 52% from the field, and securing a 132-101 victory over the Wizards. Mikal Bridges led the way with 23 points, shooting an efficient 8-of-10 from the field, but the entire team got involved.

Seven Knicks players finished in double-figures, with Josh Hart being the only Knicks starter not to score at least 19 points. New York got strong production from reserve center Ariel Hukporti with Mitchell Robinson sidelined, as he had 12 points and nine rebounds off the bench.

However, most impressively, the Knicks set a franchise record with their best point differential over a seven-game span in team history with a +24.7. The Knicks' defense isn't just playing well, but so is the offense, clicking on all cylinders under first-year head coach Mike Brown.

There wasn't too much to see from the Wizards, as rookie Will Riley led the way with 17 points off the bench, as every Washington starter had a plus-minus of -30 or worse. As highlighted by Mike Brown after the game, it's a young team still trying to develop, so there can't be high expectations for them against a contending Knicks team.

Knicks Trades On The Horizon?

As of Tuesday night, the Knicks have yet to make any moves, as they appear to be out of the Giannis Antetokounmpo sweepstakes at the moment, but could very well revisit if he isn't dealt till the offseason.

This Knicks team has proven over the past seven games that they can be the best team in the Eastern Conference when they lock in, but both the Cleveland Cavaliers and Boston Celtics improved with deals on Tuesday.

If any deals are to be made in New York, it'll probably be focused on adding help to their bench unit.
