The New York Knicks play host to the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday night

The New York Knicks and Memphis Grizzlies will meet for the first time this regular season, in what many are hoping will be another crucial win for both sides. The Knicks are entering Tuesday night’s matchup red hot, posting a 6–3 record with all six victories coming inside Madison Square Garden.

Mike Brown’s squad continues to look sharper with each game, thriving off their balanced offense and improved ball movement. The Memphis Grizzlies, on the other hand, have been in a state of turmoil both on and off the court. Ja Morant has expressed growing frustration with the direction of the team, yet continues to play through the tension between himself and the organization.

Despite flashes of brilliance from Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr., the Grizzlies haven’t been able to string together consistent performances, leaving them searching for answers early in the year.

    Injury Report

Starting off with Memphis, five players are listed as OUT ahead of Tuesday’s contest, including Zach Edey, Ty Jerome, and Scotty Pippen Jr.. Their absences have further exposed the team’s lack of depth, forcing head coach Taylor Jenkins to rely on creative lineups that haven’t quite meshed.

Sitting at 4–7, Memphis has lost six of its seven games by double digits, a clear indicator of how costly their injuries have been on both ends of the floor.

For New York, only Mitchell Robinson appears on the injury list, officially marked as QUESTIONABLE due to ongoing load management for his ankle. The Knicks have handled Robinson with caution this season, carefully monitoring his minutes to ensure maximum efficiency.

In Sunday’s win, Robinson posted eight points, eight rebounds, and two blocks in under 20 minutes, finishing with an impressive +40 plus/minus.

With New York set to begin their first back-to-back of the season, Brown may opt to rest Robinson on Tuesday and play him Wednesday — or vice versa — depending on matchups. Regardless, it’s all smiles in Manhattan as the Knicks aim for their fifth straight win and seventh consecutive home victory. If the offense continues its blistering pace, success will once again come knocking at its doorstep.

Tip-off at Madison Square Garden is set for 7:30 p.m. EST, with the Knicks looking to secure their fifth-straight win and start the season 7-0 at home. It'll be the fifth of their seven straight games at home, before a five-game road trip starting in Miami against the Heat.
