OG Anunoby speaks on the Knicks comeback in Game 4.

The New York Knicks looked dead in the water for the majority of Game 4 of the NBA Finals, trailing by as many as 29 points to the San Antonio Spurs in the third quarter.

They were down 15 early in the fourth, but managed to stick with the process and chip away at the lead before eventually going up late in the fourth.

With 30 seconds remaining, the Spurs took a two-point lead on two free throws by Stephon Castle.

Jalen Brunson missed a floater with 16 seconds left, and the ball popped out to midcourt, where it was picked up by De'Aaron Fox. Instead of eating the ball and getting fouled, Fox went for a layup, which was blocked by OG Anunoby.

The OG Anunoby Tip

After a timeout, the Knicks had six seconds to get a basket.

Brunson wasted no time, launching a 31-foot three as he got the inbound. The shot came up short, but bounced up enough to allow Anunoby to crash in from the top of the circle, tipping the ball into the basket to give the Knicks a one point lead with one second remaining.

Anunoby was free for the tip thanks to a double sent at Brunson on the final play. With no one to box him out as the ball was launched, Anunoby immediately recognized that he was free, and went hard to the rim. He timed things perfectly, going up as the ball was still in the air to deliver one of the greatest plays in NBA Finals history.

OG Anunoby Speaks

After the game, Anunoby spoke about his game-winning play.

"The shot went up, I was free. There was no one boxing me out, so I just went in there for a tip dunk and ended up just tipping it in. The ball went over my head, so I couldn't really dunk it. I just tried to tip it in softly and it went in," he said.

Anunoby had another impactful all around game, scoring 33 points and knocking down seven threes.

He's been the second best player on New York during the Finals, making impactful plays on both ends of the floor to bring the Knicks to one win from the NBA Championship.

The Knicks can close out the series, and the NBA season, on Saturday.
