The New York Knicks host the Dallas Mavericks Monday at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

The New York Knicks take on the Dallas Mavericks on Monday and could be a return to the court for a couple of Knicks stars.

While the Knicks have had a difficult stretch lately, losing eight of their last 10 games, it pales in comparison to what the Mavericks have been going through.

The Mavericks have seven players out with hard injuries, several of them being season-ending surgeries or surgeries that will at least take up most of the season, and another outside factor keeping one of their players off the court. Dallas is just 17-26 this season and their heavily depleted roster doesn't make things any easier.

Knicks Injury Report

Jalen Brunson (ankle) is QUESTIONABLE for Monday's game. Brunson has missed two consecutive games after spraining his right ankle against the Sacramento Kings, but Brunson may not be rushed back to the court against the Mavericks considering how held back Dallas is with injuries.

Josh Hart (ankle) is QUESTIONABLE for Monday's game. Hart has been dealing with ankle soreness that kept him out of the Knicks' last contest, but could make a return on Monday.

Moussa Cisse, Miles Kelly and Ryan Nembhard (two-way) are all PROBABLE for Monday's game. Considering the deeply depleted state of the Mavericks' roster, the G-Leaguers will likely be needed to fill out the team.

PJ Washington (personal reasons) remains OUT for the third straight game.
