The Knicks got trounced on Friday, 118-80, against the Eastern Conference top seed Detroit Pistons. The loss snapped an eight game win streak for the Knicks. This is their third game of four on the road.

This will be the third meeting of the season between the two teams. The season series is tied at 1-1. The Knicks won 105-95 in the second game of the season. The Celtics won 123-117 on December 2. They will meet once more on April 9.
