Lakers' Austin Reaves Still Questionable Against Brooklyn Nets cover image

Austin Reaves is still on the injury report for the Los Angeles Lakers.

The Los Angeles Lakers look to close out their road trip with a victory as they take on the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday.

The Lakers are coming off a 112-100 loss against the New York Knicks on Sunday, in what could have been the last game for LeBron James at Madison Square Garden. The Lakers have traded wins and losses in their last four games. This is the final game of an eight-game road trip, where they are 4-3 thus far.

The Nets got thumped by the Detroit Pistons in their last contest, losing 130-77. They have just one win in their last nine games. They just wrapped a five-game road trip, and return home for one game before hitting the road again.

This is the first meeting of the season between the two teams. They won't meet again until March 27.

Los Angeles Lakers Injury Report

Austin Reaves is still listed as QUESTIONABLE with a left calf strain.

Reaves has been sidelined since Christmas Day, and there was hope that he would return on this road trip, but that has yet to come to fruition.

JJ Redick said early in the trip that he was hoping Reaves would return "sooner than later," but with Brooklyn being the final stop, later is the only option. ESPN's Shams Charania reported that Reaves was on schedule to return against the Cleveland Cavaliers on January 28, but the report was quickly deleted, and Reaves did not play in Cleveland.

Reaves is having a career year, averaging 26.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 6.3 assists.

Bronny James is also listed as QUESTIONABLE with left lower leg soreness. Bronny was inactive against the Knicks.

In limited minutes this season, the son of LeBron James is averaging 1.8 points, 0.5 rebounds, and 1.1 assists.

Adou Thiero remains OUT with a right MCL sprain.

Brooklyn Nets Injury Report

Noah Clowney is AVAILABLE with a lower back sprain for Brooklyn.

Clowney has missed the last five games, his only missed games of the season, due to the injury. In 43 games this year, Clowney is averaging 13.1 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.9 assists.

Ziaire Williams is also AVAILABLE with a left calf contusion. Williams has missed the last three games.

Williams is averaging 9.5 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 0.7 assists in 34 games this season.

Haywood Highsmith remains OUT after undergoing right knee surgery. He remains out indefinitely.

Tyson Eitienne, Chaney Johnson, and EJ Liddell are all OUT on G-League two-way deals.
