The Los Angeles Lakers are looking healthy going into a big game against the Houston Rockets.

The Los Angeles Lakers look to keep things rolling as they take on the Houston Rockets in a big time Western Conference showdown. 

The Lakers have won five straight, besting the rival Denver Nuggets in overtime, 127-125, in their last contest. They have won eight of their last nine and are 8-2 in their last ten. They have moved up to third place in the West with a 42-25 record. They lead the Rockets by a half game. The Lakers, Rockets, Nuggets, Minnesota Timberwolves, and Phoenix Suns are all separated by three games. 

The Rockets are coming off a 107-105 victory over the New Orleans Pelicans. They have traded wins and losses in their last nine games, going 6-4 in their last ten. At 41-25, they are fourth in the West. They trail the Lakers by a half game and led the Nuggets and Timberwolves by a full game. 

This is the second meeting of the season between the two teams. The Rockets picked up a 119-96 victory on Christmas Day, a game where Austin Reaves was injured 15 minutes into the contest. These two teams will get very familiar with each other as they'll play again in two days with both games taking place in Houston. 

Los Angeles Lakers Injury Report

The Lakers are listing Maxi Kleber as OUT with a lumbar back strain. He has not played since March 8, missing the last three games. He was originally listed as questionable, but was downgraded early to out. 

Kleber has played 35 games this season, averaging 10.9 minutes off the bench. He's averaging 2.2 points, 1.9 rebounds, and 0.6 assists. 

LeBron James is completely off the injury report. He's been listed as questionable in the last two games, but has played in both contests. He logged 40 minutes against the Nuggets, and was diving on the floor at the end of the game. 

Houston Rockets Injury Report

Alperen Sengun is QUESTIONABLE with low back pain. He missed the last game against the Pelicans after playing just 24 minutes against the Nuggets on March 11. 

The two-time All-Star is averaging 20.2 points, 8.9 rebounds, and 6.1 assists in 58 contests this season.

Jae'Sean Tate is OUT with a right knee sprain. He's been sidelined since February 21. He was set to miss at least two weeks from the time of his injury. There have been no further updates on his status. 

Steven Adams is OUT after undergoing season-ending left ankle surgery in January. 

Fred VanVleet is OUT after undergoing ACL surgery in the offseason. 

JD Davison is OUT on a G-League two-way deal.
