The Los Angeles Lakers have set their injury report ahead of game three against the Houston Rockets

The Los Angeles Lakers will look to take a 3-0 lead in their first round Western Conference series against the Houston Rockets on Friday. 

The Lakers won game two, 101-94, protecting home court in the first two games. The Lakers jumped to a big lead in the second quarter, going up by 15 before the Rockets battled back to tie the game early in the third. The Lakers got the lead back with nine minutes remaining in the third and never looked back, shutting down the Rockets offense, in particular Kevin Durant, in the fourth quarter. 

The Lakers lead the series 2-0. Game three tips off in Houston at 8 PM ET. 

Los Angeles Lakers Injury Report

Austin Reaves is QUESTIONABLE with a left oblique muscle strain. Reaves hasn't played since April 2 against the Oklahoma City Thunder. He played in 51 regular season games, averaging 23.3 points, 4.7 rebounds, and 5.5 assists. If he plays, it is unknown if he will be reinserted into the starting lineup or have a minutes restriction. 

Luka Doncic is OUT with a left hamstring strain. He's been sidelined since April 2. It was reported on April 21 that he is not expected to return in round one. In 64 games this season, he averaged 33.5 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 8.3 assists. 

LeBron James turned in another masterful performance in game two, finishing with 28 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists. Marcus Smart had 25 points and seven assists while Luke Kennard contributed 23 points and six rebounds. Rui Hachimura chipped in with 13 points, and Deandre Ayton had six points. 

Jaxson Hayes, Jarred Vanderbilt, and Jake LaRavia all saw minutes off the bench. 

Houston Rockets Injury Report

Kevin Durant is QUESTIONABLE with a left ankle sprain. He's been questionable heading into all three games this series. He missed game one, but played 41 minutes in game two, scoring 23 points to go along with six rebounds, four assists, and nine turnovers. 

Steven Adams is OUT after undergoing season-ending left ankle surgery in January. He averaged 5.8 points, 8.6 rebounds, and 1.5 assists on the season. 

Fred VanVleet is OUT after undergoing season-ending ACL surgery in September. He won't return to the floor until next season. 

Alperen Sengun had a double-double in game two, finishing with 20 points and 11 rebounds. Amen Thompson had 16 points and nine assists while Jabari Smith Jr had 18 points. Josh Okogie contributed seven points. 

Tairi Eason was the only bench player to score, finishing with 10 points on 14 shots.
