Bronny James has no hard feelings about LeBron leaving the Lakers.
One underrated aspect of LeBron James saying goodbye to the Los Angeles Lakers after eight seasons and joining the Philadelphia 76ers in free agency is one of the teammates that he left behind in Los Angeles: his own son.
The fact that Bronny James was drafted by the Lakers at all, let alone the fact that he became a regular part of the roster last season and has genuinely continued to grow as a player, was a testament to just how long the elder James has been dominating the NBA, and the moments of father and son sharing the court and even connecting with each other on plays made for some historic moments.

Bronny Is Unbothered
"It's whatever, it's my dad," James said (via Legion Hoops).
There isn't much else for James to say, to be fair. While LeBron may be his teammate, he is also his father and one or two seasons spent in Philadelphia isn't going to do much to change their relationship.

While they've already made history as teammates, even playing in the playoffs together, now they're set up to become to first father and son to play against each other in NBA history, with the first opportunity for that to happen being on Christmas Day next season.
It seems almost guaranteed that the elder and younger James will meet on the court at least once and that moment where one guards the other will become yet another iconic and historic moment for the James basketball dynasty.

But Bronny now has another opportunity with LeBron off to Philadelphia, that being that he now has to chance to grow as his own player without being in the shadow of his legendary father.

Kirby Lee-Imagn ImagesNext season will be the first time in James' career that he plays a full season at the NBA level without being sent down to the G-League after signing a four-year, $7.89 million rookie contract this past offseason, with a team option in the fourth year, and he's shown improvement in each of the last two seasons, particularly with his jump in shooting efficiency with a 41% field goal percentage and 38.6% three point percentage last season.
With more usage and time on the court, James should only continue to improve and show that even without his father as his teammate, he deserves a place in the NBA.
