The Los Angeles Lakers dropped their third straight game on Thursday, losing 113-110 to the Phoenix Suns. 

The game was tied at 110 in the dying seconds after the Lakers stormed back in the final minutes. 

Royce O'Neal hit a three with 1.7 seconds left to give the Suns the lead. Austin Reaves had a chance to tie it at the buzzer, but his three was off-line. 

It was the second straight game where the Lakers lost in the closing seconds. On Tuesday, they lost to the Orlando Magic after Luka Doncic passed up what look to be a good look from about 30 feet out, giving the ball to LeBron James, who missed a turnaround three at the buzzer. 

Speaking after the game, Redick addressed the Phoenix run in the third where they got back in the game after being down 13, the Lakers falling behind by 12 in the fourth, and the clutch execution. 

"Our losses are louder than other teams because we're the Lakers and because of the way we lose. Tonight was a one possesion clutch game and now we've lost a few of those, but we've been great, for the most part, in the clutch all year. We had some adversity tonight. Did we not respond? You're not going to avoid adversity," he said. 

Redick admitted that basketball is a game of mistakes, and they made mistakes, but so did the other team. He praised his team for responding to the adversity. 

The Lakers trailed 101-89 with 6:28 left after a Jalen Green layup. The Lakers survived three point misses by Collin Gillespie and Green on the same possession, which would've pushed the lead to 15 had they fell. 

Instead, they ran off an 11-2 run to get back into the game. 

The Lakers are the most publicized team in the league, given their history and the fact that they have LeBron James and Luka Doncic on the team. 

The past two losses have been very loud as they've come in the final seconds against teams they were favored against. 

The Lakers have been one of the better clutch teams all season with a 16-5 record in clutch situations, which is the best win percentage in the league. 

Three of those five clutch losses have come in February. They lost 112-110 to the New York Knicks on February 1. 

On the season, they have an offensive rating of 133.3 and a defensive rating of 113.8 in the clutch. In February, the offense has still performed in the clutch with a 138.9 rating. However, their defense has not been able to get stops with a defensive rating of 141.2.
