The Los Angeles Lakers took down the Brooklyn Nets on Friday. See how it happened.

The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the Brooklyn Nets on Friday to log their second win in a row. Below were the key performances and moments of the game:

Doncic Dominates

Two days after notching 43 points and seven assists in a 137-130 win over the Indiana Pacers, Luka Doncic backed it up with 41 points, eight rebounds, three steals and a block in the 116-99 win over Brooklyn. It was another efficient outing for Doncic as he shot 15-25 from the field and 5-10 from 3-point range.

Doncic’s latest game makes him the first Laker since Kobe Bryant in 2012-13 and the only player this season to average 30-plus points per game and reach 100-plus steals. In March, he is averaging 37.2 points per game and 2.3 steals.

With the final days of March counting down, Doncic has now delivered six performances of 40 or more points during the month, two of which were 60-point and 51-point performances.

The James Gang

It was not just LeBron James who would see the court on Friday — he would be joined by his son, Bronny.

The younger James logged four minutes of playing time, and there were times in the second and fourth quarter in which the father and son duo were deployed together.

Bronny went 1-2 from the field during his brief time on the floor. His three points resulted in an assist from his father in the second quarter with the Lakers trailing by five points after the Nets executed a 16-4 run.

LeBron finished the game with 14 points, eight assists and six rebounds in 37 minutes.

Austin Reaves Delivers

A career-high scoring season marches on for Austin Reaves after his Friday night performance against the Nets.

Reaves scored 26 points on 53.8% shooting while grabbing eight rebounds and dishing out five assists. It was a slow start for Reaves; who after three quarters only had 13 points and had missed each of his three attempts from beyond the arc.

However, the fourth quarter belonged to him.

Reaves led the way for the Lakers with 15 points on 4-5 shooting. He took four 3-point attempts — more than he had all game — and hit all of them.

The Lakers, who entered the final period of play clinging to a three-point advantage, outscored the Nets 31-15 in the final 12-minute slate, and nearly half of those points were thanks to Reaves. This season, he is averaging 23.6 points per game, a 3.4-point swing from his 20.2 ppg average last season.

The Lakers are now winners of 11 of their last 12 games, and they will host the Washington Wizards on Monday.
