The Lakers have been busy signing undrafted rookies following the NBA Draft.
The Los Angeles Lakers wasted little time attacking the undrafted free-agent market after the 2026 NBA Draft, reportedly adding seven prospects to their Summer League roster.
The Lakers selected Baylor wing Cameron Carr with the No. 24 overall pick after trading up one spot in the first round, and immediately turned their attention to undrafted talent after trading away the No. 56 overall selection.
The result was one of the organization's busiest post-draft recruiting efforts in recent years.
L.A. reportedly handed out two two-way deals, four Exhibit 10 deals and one Summer League agreement.
Peter Suder (5) holds up the NCAA Mid-American Conference trophy after defeating the Toledo Rockets 74-72, Tuesday, March 3, 2026, at Millett Hall in Oxford, Oh.The Two-Way Deals
The biggest commitments went to Vanderbilt forward AK Okereke and Miami (Ohio) guard Peter Suder, who both reportedly agreed to two-way contracts.
Suder was one of the top mid-major players in college basketball last season.
HoopsHype's Michael Scotto reported the Lakers signed the MAC Player of the Year after he helped lead Miami (Ohio) to a remarkable 31-0 regular-season record.
The 6-foot-5 guard averaged 14.8 points, 4.6 rebounds and 4.0 assists while shooting 54.6% from the field and 42.1% from 3.
According to ESPN's Shams Charania, Okereke joins the Lakers after spending his final collegiate season at Vanderbilt following three years at Cornell.
The 6-foot-7 forward earned All-Ivy League honors before transferring to the SEC, where he averaged 9.6 points while shooting a career-best 40% from 3-point range.
The Rest of the Group
The Lakers also reportedly signed Syracuse forward William Kyle III, Saint Louis big man Robbie Avila, Marquette guard Chase Ross and Florida State guard Robert McCray V to Exhibit 10 contracts.
Kyle, who was first reported by ESPN's Dave McMenamin, gives L.A. another athletic frontcourt option.
The 6-foot-9 forward averaged 8.4 points, 7.1 rebounds and 2.5 blocks at Syracuse while shooting better than 66% from the field.
DraftExpress' Jon Chepkevich reported the additions of Avila, Ross and McCray.
Avila arrives after starring at Saint Louis, where the 6-foot-10 forward averaged 12.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.1 assists while shooting nearly 50% from the field and 41% from 3-point range.
Ross developed into one of the nation's premier perimeter defenders during his four-year career at Marquette.
The senior averaged 14.3 points, 4.2 rebounds, 3.4 assists and 2.3 steals while leading the Big East in steals and earning All-Big East Defensive Team honors.
McCray is coming off a breakout senior season at Florida State, where he led the Seminoles in both scoring and assists.
The 6-foot-4 guard averaged 16.3 points and 6.1 assists en route to All-ACC honors and brings elite athleticism after reportedly posting a 43-inch vertical leap.
The final addition was Virginia guard Jacari White, who reportedly agreed to join the Lakers on a Summer League deal, according to 247Sports' Dushawn London.
He shot 43.4% from 3-point range with the Cavaliers and over 41% from deep during his college career, giving the Lakers another floor-spacing guard to evaluate this summer.
With the Summer League approaching, all seven newcomers will have an opportunity to compete alongside first-round pick Cameron Carr and begin making their case for a future with the Lakers.
While only Okereke and Suder have guaranteed two-way deals, the remaining players will look to turn strong performances into roster spots or opportunities with the Coachella Valley Lakers.
