The Los Angeles Lakers have shared their injury report ahead of Sunday's showdown with the Miami Heat.

The Los Angeles Lakers will be back on the court on Sunday as they welcome the Miami Heat to Crypto.com Arena. Ahead of Sunday's showdown, the Lakers are listing Deandre Ayton as probable with back spasms.

Ayton left Friday's game against the Memphis Grizzlies after just 17 minutes with back spasms. Ayton said he was dealing with tightness in his back at shootaround, but worked to get it loose by game time against Memphis. He said he tweaked it on an alley-oop play in the first half.

After the Grizzlies game, Ayton said he was hopeful to play against Miami.

LeBron James, Maxi Kleber, Adou Thiero, and Gabe Vincent are all listed as out for the Lakers.

James has yet to suit up this season, and is expected to be out until mid-November with sciatica. Kleber has also yet to play this year due to an abdominal muscle strain. On October 21st, it was reported that he would be re-evaluated in two weeks.

Thiero is listed out following left knee surgery. Vincent, who started three games for the Lakers, is out with a left ankle sprain. On October 27, it was reported that Vincent would be out for two to four weeks.

Los Angeles Lakers Look For Third Straight Victory

The Lakers will be searching for their third straight win on the young season against Miami.

They are coming off back-to-back close games, beating the Minnesota Timberwolves, 116-115, on Wednesday, thanks to an Austin Reaves game-winning shot.

On Friday, the purple and gold squad welcomed Luka Doncic, who missed three games, back to the lineup to knock off the Grizzlies in NBA Cup group play, 117-112. Doncic had 44 points in the contest, leading a second-half comeback for Los Angeles.

Along with the return of Doncic, Los Angeles got Marcus Smart back for the game against the Grizzlies. Smart started the game, playing 34 minutes and finishing with 12 points, four assists, and two steals.

The Grizzlies led 69-55 at the half following a 42-24 second quarter, but the Lakers chipped away at the lead, winning the third quarter 34-22 and the fourth quarter 28-21 to complete the comeback.

The Lakers started the season 2-2, opening with a loss to the Golden State Warriors before defeating the Timberwolves and Sacramento Kings. The Portland Trail Blazers bested the Lakers on October 27th, which is the last time they've tasted defeat.

After a game against Miami on Sunday, the Lakers will rematch Portland on Monday.
