The Nuggets are coming off a 110-87 loss to the Charlotte Hornets, snapping a four-game win streak for the team. This game wraps up a three-game homestand for the Nuggets, who are in third place in the West, three games up on the sixth-place Lakers.
This is the first meeting of the season for the Lakers and Nuggets. They won't meet again until March 5th.
Los Angeles Lakers Injury Report
LeBron James and Luka Doncic are good to go for the Lakers. Both men were questionable going into the Raptors game, and both men ended up playing in the game.
LeBron played 32 minutes, scoring 24 points and dishing out seven assists. Luka played 34 minutes and had 25 points and seven assists.
Austin Reaves remains OUT for the Lakers. He has been sidelined since Christmas Day with a grade 2 left gastrocnemius strain. He is set to be re-evaluated four weeks from the time of his injury.
Adou Thiero is also out with an MCL sprain. He's been out since December 30 and was set to miss at least four weeks.
Denver Nuggets Injury Report
Jamal Murray is PROBABLE for Denver with left knee inflammation. He's played in four straight games after missing three games at the beginning of the month.
Murray is averaging 25.9 points, 3.9 rebounds, and 7.3 assists. All three numbers are career highs for Murray, who has taken on a larger role in the offense since the injury to Nikola Jokic.
Aaron Gordon is also PROBABLE with a right hamstring strain. He missed the game against the Hornets after playing in six straight games, coming off a hamstring injury. In 20 games this season, Gordon is averaging a career high of 18 points and 6.4 rebounds.
Tim Hardaway Jr is also PROBABLE with a right knee contusion. Hardaway Jr played just 13 minutes against the Hornets.
He's missed just one game this year. In 42 games, the Nuggets sharpshooter is averaging 14 points and shooting a career high 41% from three on seven attempts per game.
