Paolo Banchero led seven players in double figures with 20 points, as Orlando defeated Minnesota, 132-120, at Kia Center. Desmond Bane scored 18 points for the Magic, Franz Wagner netted 17 points and Goga Bitadze tallied 14 points, 15 rebounds and six assists. Terrence Shannon Jr. led the Timberwolves and all scorers with a career-high 33 points. Both teams shot the ball well – Orlando was 53.7 percent from the field, while Minnesota was 50 percent. The Magic dominated the glass, outrebounding the Timberwolves, 48-33, including 19-9 on the offensive end. Orlando closed the second quarter with a 12-3 run to take a 63-53 lead at halftime and never looked back, extending its lead to as many as 24 points during the second half.
