LAST GAME: Desmond Bane poured in 36 points, as Orlando defeated the L.A. Clippers, 111- 109, at Intuit Dome. All five Magic starters scored in double figures. Paolo Banchero tallied 16 points, eight assists and seven rebounds while Wendell Carter Jr. recorded 15 points and 14 rebounds. Kawhi Leonard led the Clippers and all scorers with 37 points. The Magic held the Clippers to just 5-of-23 from three-point range. The game was tightly contested throughout, with 14 ties and 19 lead changes. With the score tied at 107, Bane connected on a layup with 1:26 left to give Orlando the edge. He later found Banchero on a fastbreak dunk to push the lead to four points with 40.4 seconds remaining. After a Leonard jumper and a defensive stop, the Clippers had a chance to tie or win on the final possession. However, a three-point attempt by Benedict Mathurin as time expired was off the mark and the Magic escaped with their first-ever win at Intuit Dome in Inglewood.

QUOTABLE
Magic player Desmond Bane on the win against the Clippers: “I think it's huge. You know, last night was emotional. Double overtime game lost at the buzzer. I was telling some of the guys, like, I remember last year in Memphis we lost three games in a row like that and it kind of felt like that was like the backbreaker of our season just because [it’s] so emotional and you know, you're right there but you come out with a loss. So, I'm really proud of our group. Thought we did it the way we wanted to do it — imposing our will, sitting down and guarding. So, it was good to see, personally.”
