Mosley dissects missed opportunities and costly turnovers, revealing the razor-thin margins that determined the Magic's heartbreaking road loss.

On what he saw from his team tonight after falling short on the road:

"Yeah, I saw a lot of fight. That was the first thing I saw. Second thing, the game is in the margins. Offensive rebounding, I think we did a better job there down the stretch, containing Maxi. I thought Jaylen did a great job on him early on. He took 25 shots to get 31. It was just the others that stepped in and made some big time shots. UB started off getting a little hot. Again, our guys, the fight was there. Just being able to knock a couple shots down down the stretch wasn't there. As well as we got to make sure we step in and knock down our free throws."

On what happened with the offense tonight and whether there was enough movement:

"I don't think it was the movement. I think we had some great looks. I'll go back and look at the film, but I think we had some great looks out there. Our guys are making sure they continue to step in with confidence on great looks, and I think those go down. That's the difference. Maxi hit a couple big ones, Paul George hit a couple big ones for them, and I think that's what happened down the stretch."

On how costly the turnovers were:

"That's what we talked about, being able to take care of the basketball. 15 turnovers for 15 points. That's the game right there. We said it to them in the locker room. It's the margins, it's the rebounding, it's the free throws, and then it's the turnovers. We talked about being able to take care of the basketball. They turned it over 11 times for 11 points. We turned it over 15 times for 15 points. And that's the difference in the game. You guys talked about it before the game, asked what it was going to take, and it is a possession game. You win the possessions by taking care of the basketball, by knocking down your free throws, keeping them off the free throw line, and rebounding the basketball."

On how difficult it was to play from behind, with the game staying in a six or seven-point window:

"Those are the momentum swings within the game. I think our guys for the most part did a very good job of not trying to chase it back down. But again, to your point, it was that one costly turnover in the moment when you're making a run, that big offensive rebound in a moment where they get a second chance opportunity, a missed shot that leads to a run out. Those are things within the game, the swings that happen within a game. We were in a five-point game at one point and then got it down lower, and our ability just to continue to fight, I did like. But then again, these games are won in the margins. Obviously things get so much tighter in these postseason type games."

On getting paint touches or keeping players in good positions:

"They did a great job of trying to keep him out of the paint, and then when he did have the ball, they were swarming. I think we got to just continue to do a good job of putting space around him as he gets downhill and then being able to spray it out after that. But again, you got to give Philly a ton of credit for the way they swarmed and packed the paint in. But again, our guys, they continue to fight. The spirits are in the right space of knowing we got to go home and take care of home on Friday."

On the player who looked like he was grabbing his leg:

"I haven't talked to him since I've walked in here. So I'll go back and check and see how he's doing."

On playing Friday in an elimination game with their backs against the wall:

"One game at a time, and this is the one game that we've got to make sure we go home and take care of. Our fans are going to be there ready to go supporting us as we make sure we take care of home."

On whether there is frustration in the locker room after not being able to take advantage of this game:

"I don't think anybody's in the locker room happy. But I don't think there's a sense of like we could have got this one. Absolutely there is disappointment. But at the end of the day you have one more opportunity. So that's the way you've got to look at it versus disappointment. Yes. But at the end of the day, you have another opportunity. And I think that's how we have to look at it. The opportunity to go home in front of our fans, great fans, and make sure we take care of Charlotte."
