Jamal Cain believes the team is playing the right way despite the losses, focusing on consistent effort to break their losing streak.

On Coach Mosley's message to the team in the locker room after the game:

"He said no moral victories, but we played well, we played together, and if we keep competing like that, we eventually turn it over and win some games."

On the biggest things preventing the team's energy and effort from translating into wins:

"I think we're doing everything right. We have the right mentality. We have the right energy. We're trying to make the right plays. Credit to Cleveland—they played well. Donovan Mitchell had a crazy night. But all in all, I think we're playing the right way. We're doing all the right things. The ball just hasn't went our way."

On how to keep frustration from boiling over when doing the right things, especially with only 10 games left:

"We know the situation we're in. We know the type of basketball we're playing and ultimately it's winning basketball. So like Mo said, eventually it's going to turn. We're going to win games, but we just have to keep a level head and the guys been doing a great job of just reiterating that in moments. We just know that it's going to turn."

On how comfortable he felt in the starting lineup:

"I was comfortable for sure. Like I said before, me and my trainer Tyrese, we'd been training for these moments for a reason. I wasn't nervous at all."

On the challenge of guarding Donovan Mitchell and James Harden as a young player:

"Definitely a challenge. A challenge I'm up for for sure. Those are the guys why they get paid the big bucks, you know what I mean? Pat on the back for them—they played well. They played phenomenal. But like I said, we keep playing like this, eventually it would turn."

On how he would assess his own game at this point in his development:

"I think I've been playing okay. I feel like I can play better, a lot better. But ultimately I've been playing confident. Just trying to play hard, honestly. Just trying to bring juice to the team, bring extra efforts, just bring anything I can to contribute to a win."
