QUOTABLE
Magic player Paolo Banchero after the win against the Washington Wizards:
“I think, you know, just approaching every game as a playoff-level game. You know, every game counts for us at this part in the season, and we're trying to fight for position in the standings. So, just coming in with that mentality and preparing the right way: watching personnel film, watching film after games, win or loss, you know, looking at what we did good, what we did bad, and just trying to make the proper corrections and just be better. So, I think, just taking it one game at a time and just singular focus.”
Magic coach Jamahl Mosley on the rest of the season: "We talked about a little bit about before the game being able to hold each other accountable. Hold your teammate accountable, coaches hold the players accountable, just the ability to do the right thing consistently. That's why you go back to Bey's point, that was a 4-minute stretch where we didn't do the right thing. We were able to go into halftime and talk about that. I think that's so important that you can say, 'Hey, we're not playing up to our standard.' And then you see what happens and when we come out and respond because we did some very good things early on and then it got a little easy and the ability to reset at halftime and come out and play the right way is what we need to continue to do."
