Desmond Bane scored a game-high 32 points, including the game-winning layup with 0.9 seconds remaining in overtime, as Orlando defeated Utah, 128-127, in overtime at Delta Center. Paolo Banchero tallied 23 points, nine rebounds and nine assists for the Magic, while Anthony Black netted 20 points. Noah Penda tallied his first career double-double with 13 points and a career-high 12 rebounds. Keyonte George led six Jazz players in double figures with 27 points. The Magic led 65-60 at halftime, by as many as 19 points during the second half and 110-94 with 6:45 left in regulation. Utah did not quit and outscored Orlando 24-8 during the final 6:45. Banchero had a chance to win it at the buzzer, but his shot was off the mark and the game went into overtime. In the extra session, with the Magic leading 126-123, George hit a three-pointer and was fouled with 4.1 seconds left. After his free throw gave the Jazz a one-point lead, Bane took a pass from Wendell Carter Jr. near the top of the key and hit the driving layup with 0.9 left. The Jazz had one last chance, but the inbounds pass was deflected out of bounds and Orlando escaped with the win.
LAST GAME BETWEEN TEAMS
Desmond Bane led a balanced Magic offense with a team-high 23 points to help Orlando end the Warriors' season-high three-game winning streak and a four-game losing streak to Golden State with a 121-113 win at the Kia Center. The Warriors trimmed the Magic's lead down to 10, 116-106, with 2:43 left in the fourth quarter, but could not get any closer as Orlando held off Golden State.
For the second time since Jimmy Butler III joined the Warriors, Stephen Curry (game-high 34 points) and Butler III (season-high 33 points) each scored at least 30 points in the same game, but again Golden State lost, as the other instance was on 4/13/25 vs. the Clippers (Curry 36, Butler III 30). Curry (25,749 career points) moved into 22nd place on the NBA all-time points scored list, passing Vince Carter (25,728). Draymond Green added 12 points and with two blocks became the second Warrior to record 900 blocks in franchise history, joining Adonal Foyle. For the Magic, six players scored in double figures. Anthony Black led all reserves with 21 points. Franz Wagner had 18 points and Wendell Carter Jr. recorded a double-double with 17 points and a game-high 12 rebounds. Tristan da Silva tallied 15 points and Jalen Suggs added 13 points.

QUOTABLE
Desmond Bane on trusting Noah Penda: "Yeah, I mean there's no doubt, we have the utmost confidence in him. He made a bunch of plays, offensive rebound, defensive blocks, had to drive and dump off to Wendell. He's a pros pro, you know, he been a pro since he was like how old? 16. I wasn't even driving a car yet. And he already a pro basketball player. So, you know, ain't no question about whether he's ready for these moments."
