Resilience ignites Orlando's comeback. Bane highlights bench spark, clutch plays, and adaptability as the Magic fight for playoff positioning.

On the team's resiliency after overcoming a double-digit deficit for the 18th time this season:

"Yeah, I mean I think it says that we're extremely resilient. Keep fighting, keep playing. A lot of credit to the bench. It's not an easy position going into the game when teams have leads and momentum, but I felt like our bench is kind of what helped ignite us tonight. Then late down the stretch, our starting group kind of came alive and found ways to make plays."

On how crucial this win was with so few games left:

"I think it was humongous. Every game down this stretch is huge and is going to have a lot of meaning to where we end up going into the postseason."

On the importance of offensive rebounding in overcoming a tough night shooting from outside:

"You got to be able to win in multiple ways. Whether we're making shots or missing shots, we can control our effort and the offensive glass is straight effort plays. Paulo, Wendell, guards coming in there to crash. I thought that all the way up and down the board, we just had resiliency."

On Wendell Carter Jr. coming up with big boards and doing the little things:

"He's balling right now. He's playing really good basketball. We've asked so much of Wendell — to guard whether it's switching on the perimeter, guarding the drive, protecting the rim. We've been asking him to run the floor early in the season. We was telling him to space. So he's been adaptable and he's been huge for us all season. He's playing some of his best basketball headed into the postseason."

On Franz Wagner hitting the clutch shot and having him as another weapon in big moments:

"It's huge. Everybody knows how good of a player he is and how impactful he is. It was great to see that. I was telling him 'Welcome back,' and he was kind of chirping a little bit, so you can tell that his swag and his game is coming back quickly."

On whether the team is finally playing the way experts predicted at the start of the season:

"I think that we're headed in the right direction. We've had some games that have tested our character and tested our will and then other games where we haven't had it or have had it. Getting Boo back is obviously huge. Hopefully AB and Jonathan Isaac will be back soon, right around the corner. We get those guys back and in a rhythm and we'll see what we can do."

On the biggest curveball this season that turned into a valuable lesson:

"I think just adaptability. Coming into a new situation, new teammates, new players, you try to find ways to impact winning. It looks different from night to night, team to team. So I think just being adaptable — whether I'm off the ball, on the ball, guarding smaller guys or bigger guys. That adaptability is key."

On what the team needs to do against the Pistons tomorrow night and the importance of the home crowd:

"First off, get some rest. Get home, get some rest. We'll need them bad. We're playing against one of the best teams in the league that just clinched the top seed in the Eastern Conference. We know what type of challenge we're going up against on the second night of a back-to-back. We've actually played pretty well on second nights of back-to-backs throughout this season. So I'm excited for the challenge and looking forward to playing in front of the home crowd."

On his reaction to Ja Morant's recent comments about the city of Memphis:

"Everybody has their opinion of the city and opinion of every city. Everybody's entitled to their opinion, but the people that live there in Memphis and spend their time there understand how special of a place it is. Just real genuine people. If you've been there, you know."
