After trailing 68-59 at halftime and by as many as 11 points, the Magic outscored the Heat during the third quarter, 40-20. The Raptors won the first game of this series Dec. 29 in Toronto and enter play having won four straight games against the Magic including two consecutive games in Orlando. QUOTABLE

Magic guard Anthony Black on stopping the losing streak recently: “Super important. Having lost four in a row, it's never a place you want to be, but we did a good job responding. We knew this was a must-win game. And I think we just did a good job coming out ready to play. We came out aggressive on both sides of the ball. And I think we set the tone early.”

Magic forward Paolo Banchero on defeating the Miami Heat: "It feels good to get the win. Thought we played well. We just got to come back out and repeat it. I don't think anybody was too happy or too excited. We know we got a game on Friday. So come out, repeat, see what we did wrong. Thought we did a lot of stuff well and just come out with energy next game."
