The Orlando Magic’s legendary dragon clinches his third career title, cementing a record-breaking season of high-flying stunts, viral digital content, and unmatched comedic performances across the league.
From helping Aaron Gordon during the Dunk Contest to knocking down threes while flying through the air, STUFF has become one of the NBA’s most recognizable and beloved mascots. Now, the Orlando Magic fan favorite has another award to add to his résumé after being named the 2026 NBA Mascot of the Year.
Orlando Magic mascot STUFF was named the 2026 NBA Mascot of the Year at the annual NBA Mascot Conference, earning the award for the third time after previously winning in 2016 and 2017.
STUFF became the first mascot in NBA history to win the award in consecutive years and is now the only mascot in the league to win multiple awards during the 2025-26 season. His latest recognition adds to an impressive year that included the 2025-26 Digital Content Award for his “Play the Song” moments following Magic victories and the 2025-26 Video of the Year Award for his “Choices Nope – Yep” videos.
The NBA Mascot Awards were introduced in 2005 as part of the annual conference, which gives mascots from around the league an opportunity to share ideas and continue developing game-day skits, props and costumes.
STUFF is entering his 38th season with the Magic and remains one of the most recognizable mascots in professional sports. Since his debut in 1989, STUFF has become a prominent part of Orlando's identity while making appearances on nationally recognized television shows and earning attention for his high-flying stunts and comedic performances.
Among his most notable moments, STUFF famously proposed to supermodel Kate Upton, challenged Hashtag from “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon” to a televised dance-off and appeared on ESPN's Top 10 Plays after completing a backflip dunk off a 16-foot ladder.
