This Is One VIP Lounge Orlando Magic's Paolo Banchero Wants To Avoid

Hilarious video on social media lumps Paolo Banchero with the likes of Kawhi Leonard, Joel Embiid, Zion Williamson, etc

Orlando Magic forward Paolo Banchero is expected to miss about another month because of an ankle injury.

The hope is he returns sooner than later, so he avoids the "VIP Rehab," as depicted in the video below. It hilariously lumps Banchero with several players who have missed time over the past few years due to injuries. They include the likes of Paul George, Kawhi Leonard, Joel Embiid and Zion Williamson.

These are the poster childs for the NBA's "maintenance program," where players take off time during the season to rest and preserve their health.

While health is most important, the Magic need Banchero back on the court as soon as possible. He is vital if they are going to finally get over the hump and take things to the next level. The Magic have constructed a team that is supposed to compete for a championship. That doesn't happen if Banchero is in and out of the lineup.

The Magic are done if Banchero follows the lead of the superstars featured in the video. So, hopefully, he skips the invite to "VIP Rehab."

The Magic have invested too much in Banchero and the supporting cast around him. Two summers ago, they added Desmond Bane and Jalen Suggs. Many felt that was enough to make them a contender in the Eastern Conference to compete with the likes of the New York Knicks, Cleveland Cavaliers and Detroit Pistons.

Instead, the Magic struggled through the season, never gaining any consistency. They showed a glimpse of how good they could be by grabbing a 3-1 lead against the Pistons in the first round. The advantage was squandered, so the Magic need Banchero in the lineup to help make up for the disappointment.
