The Orlando Magic are set to begin a four-game West Coast road trip that begins against the Phoenix Suns on Thursday. Below is what you need to know heading into the game:

Game time: 9 p.m. ET, Mortgage Matchup Center, Phoenix

Vitals: After losing to the Washington Wizards at home on Monday, the Magic are now 0-4 in their own building to start the season and 2-5 overall. Orlando has been better on the road so far, posting a 2-1 record that included an Emirates NBA Cup win over the Toronto Raptors.

The Magic have struggled to shoot at home. However, they are first in the league at the time of writing in 3-point percentage on the road (41.4%), according to NBA.com. For whatever reason, Orlando has been more productive in opposing environments, and it could work in the team's favor once again.

The Magic continue to struggle with injuries to key players, as Paolo Banchero is set to miss more time as he recovers from a low-grade high right ankle sprain. Jalen Suggs, who recently suffered a bone bruise in his right knee in Orlando's 111-102 win over the New York Knicks on Oct. 25, will also continue to miss time.

Orlando's roster is not particularly deep, which means that everyone who touches the floor will have to step up. Apart from Monday’s game, Tristan da Silva has been a bright spot off the Magic’s bench, and he will need to step up again for his team.

The Suns are currently struggling more than the Magic, as they sit at 1-4 heading into their game against the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday. Center Mark Williams is going to miss an extended period of time after undergoing surgery on Thursday to repair a torn labrum in his left shoulder.

Guard Jordan Goodwin and forward Rasheer Fleming are both questionable for Wednesday's game, so perhaps they will return in time to face the Magic. Phoenix's offense has struggled, so if Orlando can remain consistent on the defensive end, it has a great chance of coming away with a victory.

Quotable: Desmond Bane expressed frustration over the Magic’s inability to win at home so far, but he said the team needs to be committed to their process: "I mean, you want to win every game at home, every game on the road, but that's just not how the season goes.

I mean, there's a lot of ball left, and like Franz said, we're going to continue to get better, and as we do that, the results will come, so we can't rush the process. Stay with it. Trust it, and good things will come."
