Wendell Carter Jr. and Franz Wagner detail their team's explosive offensive performance and what makes them a dangerous force.
Franz Wagner:
On the group's response after the previous game:
"I thought we played a really good game. Thought we looked organized and shared the ball all game and that's the result. Almost 140 points."
On how dangerous the offense can be with 35 assists and five guys in double figures:
"Really dangerous, I think. We got a lot of talent, a lot of guys that are really versatile and can make decisions out there. The way that we played tonight allows for everybody to be aggressive."
On Wendell Carter Jr.'s aggressiveness and how it opens things up for everyone:
"Wendell played a hell of a game. He was aggressive within the offense and I think the way we played tonight helped him generate some good looks. He did a great job of reading on defense and capitalizing off that."
On how he's feeling physically in his second game back:
"I feel all right. Obviously got to manage the minutes and stuff like that. I think that's just part of it. Felt definitely better in the last game though."
On whether tonight was a step toward playing their best basketball heading into the playoffs:
"Like I said, I thought we played a really good game, especially offensively. I think we made some good steps and now it's just a matter of consistency. Just keep working on that."
Wendell Carter Jr. :
On how the team bounced back tonight:
"We stayed consistent on the offensive end. We relied on our process over our results and the results came together. So it was a good offensive game for us. Defensively, we could do a little bit of a better job of locking in on a guy like Coop. Coop did a really good job tonight. He just stayed relentless throughout the whole game. But for the most part, I think we just did a really good job of sticking to our game plan, playing physical, and being that close to 35 assists, moving the basketball, getting six guys in double figures."
On how dangerous the offense can be with that kind of ball movement:
"That's the beauty of this team. I think from top to bottom, we got guys who can go get it any night. We play free, we play open, we play as one unit. I think we're one of the most dangerous teams in the league. If we can continue to do that for these last couple games and be in a good spot going into the playoffs, it'll give us a really good chance."
On Coach Randy Gregory challenging him to be aggressive offensively:
"I just give a lot of credit to my teammates. We just made reads and we just trusted one another. Not only just me, but everybody had a chance to get some good looks tonight. I think that's what had us score 138. So that's a hell of an offensive night for us for sure."
On Franz Wagner looking more in rhythm and how much that helps the team:
"B's one of the best forwards in this league. It's always good to have a guy like that who pays such close attention to detail. He's relentless. He can guard one through five and he plays hard. No matter what it is, he's doing it at 100%. So just glad to be out there with a guy like that who just plays the right way. I know he's just going to make this team even better."
On Cooper Flagg's performance:
"Coop is one of those guys. He's going to be in this league for a long time. Tonight showed how talented he is as a player. I think the sky's the limit for that kid. He continues to work, continues to find his groove in this league. He's going to be one of the best to play."
