ORLANDO - The Orlando Magic looks to make history tonight when it travels to the Big Apple to play the Brooklyn Nets at the Barclays Center.
On Nov. 14, the Magic and Nets played in Brooklyn for Orlando's first In-Season Tournament game and lost by 20 points after a fourth-quarter collapse. Since then, the Magic has refused to lose, winning a franchise-record nine consecutive games. Now, in order to break the record, the Magic has to beat the team that it last lost to.
"We'll have to have some extra motivation," Paolo Banchero said Friday. "They're a good team. And I think they're coming off a loss as well. So they're gonna be looking to bounce back. And yeah, I'm looking forward to the game. I think last time we played them, it was close for three quarters and then we let him pull away. So just looking forward to that matchup and redeeming ourselves."
