Another day, another record for Luka Doncic. This time, he passed up Dallas Mavericks great Rolando Blackman for eighth on the all-time rebounding list.
Despite the Dallas Mavericks' 19-15 record heading into Wednesday night's matchup with the Portland Trail Blazers, it's more impressive if you take into consideration that Luka Doncic has navigated through several Dallas roster injuries and is putting up MVP-like numbers in the process.
With those monster numbers comes many record-breaking nights, and Doncic had one of those nights again on Wednesday. With 10:04 left in the first quarter against the Blazers, Doncic recorded the 3,084th rebound of his young career, passing franchise great Rolando Blackman for eighth on the Mavs' all-time rebounding list.
Mavs Trade for Draymond Could Put Luka Over The Top
For the season, Doncic is averaging 33.4 points, 8.3 rebounds and 9.4 assists while shooting 48.4 percent overall and 37.8 percent from deep. If he stays healthy and plays the majority of the Mavs' remaining games, Doncic could potentially climb as high as fourth on Dallas' all-time rebounding list and pass Shawn Bradley, who had 3,340 rebounds.
