The Mavericks' Rookie of the Year celebrated his first NBA seaon in Turks & Caicos with a special someone.

There was a lot for Cooper Flagg to celebrate after a Rookie of the Year-worthy first season in the NBA.

The Dallas Mavericks forward led all rookies in scoring (21 points per game) and set numerous records along the way, such as becoming the first teenager to ever drop 50 points in a game.

With the NBA Playoffs approaching the conference semifinals, the Mavs, of course, are on the outside looking in after finishing the season 26-56.

The organization has turned its attention to the two first-round picks in next month's NBA Draft (picks No. 9 and 30).

But for Flagg, he's made use of his early summer by unwinding on the beaches of Turks and Caicos ... and he's done so with a special someone.

Flagg posted photos and videos on social media hard-launching his relationship with Duke women's basketball player Arianna Roberson to the world.

The two had rumored to be a couple ever since they sat with one another at a Blue Devils game during the All-Star break and when Roberson was in attendance at Flagg's press conference receiving the ROTY trophy. She was seated next to his parents on the front row.

They announced their relationship in a TikTok video showing off their vacation outfits. They also previously posted up at the iconic Noah's Ark swings on the shoreline for a photo op. Arianna also posted a photo of them kissing on her Instagram story.

Roberson is the sister of former NBA veteran Andre Roberson, who spent most of his time in the league with the Oklahoma City Thunder from 2013-2020.

It's expected that Flagg and Roberson met in Raleigh during Flagg's one-and-done season at Duke, in which he joined a small fraternity of players to be named national palyer of the year as a freshman.

This season, Flagg beat out former Duke teammate Kon Knueppel to win the Rookie of the Year award.

With Flagg spending the past year in Dallas, Roberson finished up her second season in college, where she posted eight points and 5.7 rebounds in about 18 minutes of action per game.

The 6-4 forward is a native of San Antonio and was a McDonald's All-American in the 2024 high school class. She missed the entire 2024-25 season due to injury.

The Blue Devils women's basketball team went 27-9 on the year, won the ACC Tournament after going 16-2 in regular-season league play, and reached the Elite Eight of the NCAA tournament before losing to eventual national champion UCLA.

While Flagg hasn't spoken publicly about the relationship, he mentioned at last month's press conference that there are multiple things he's excited about adding to his game.

"I’m going to work on a lot of different things," he said as the offseason begins. "There is always room for improvement in every area of the game. I think there is a ton of growth that I can make offensively, off the dribble and making reads at a high level. I’m excited to just get in the gym, especially with some of the guys, and continue to learn and grow in a lot of different areas."
