Cooper Flagg's offseason workout video shows reverse layups, contested floaters and escape dribbles, with no uncontested reps in the clip.

DALLAS - Results Basketball posted a video of Cooper Flagg's offseason training to Instagram, and MFFL Nation shared it on X. Every finishing rep in the clip comes against a defender.

Flagg, the Dallas Mavs' young star, finishes a reverse layup over an outstretched arm. He drives into traffic on another rep, keeps the ball high through the crowd, and gets a floater off against a contest. Another starts with an escape dribble against contact. It ends with a pull-up from short range over a hand.

Results Basketball is the Veazie, Maine, gym owned by Matt MacKenzie, the Mavericks forward's longtime player development coach. MacKenzie also owns Eastern Maine Sports Academy in the same town. He has worked with Flagg and his twin brother, Ace Flagg, for years.

Earlier this week, MacKenzie appeared on the Jimmy C Hoops podcast and listed durability, three-point shooting off the catch and off the dribble, finishing through contact, and decision-making in live reads as the areas of emphasis this summer. Flagg missed eight games with a foot injury as a rookie. He sprained his ankle in the final game of the season.
