Mikel Brown Jr. Takes Accountability for Costly OT Mistakes

Mikel Brown Jr. took full accountability for his costly mistakes late in the Brooklyn Nets' overtime loss to the Boston Celtics, including attempting a layup instead of pulling the ball out while Brooklyn held a one-point lead. The rookie explained that the ball was slipping out of his hands and he feared falling out of bounds, but acknowledged that the team had discussed getting the ball in and killing time before the play.
