Nick Pringle is headed to Brooklyn after going undrafted and spending Summer League with the Boston Celtics. The 6-foot-10 forward now gets another shot to prove himself with the Nets.
The Brooklyn Nets are adding another big man to their roster, as former Alabama and Arkansas forward Nick Pringle has signed with the team, according to his agency, Seros Partners.
Contract details have not yet been disclosed, so it remains unclear whether Pringle has signed an Exhibit 10 contract, a two-way deal, or another type of agreement. If it is an Exhibit 10 deal, Pringle would likely be ticketed for the Long Island Nets, Brooklyn's G League affiliate, while getting an opportunity to compete for a spot in training camp. Nothing has been confirmed regarding the terms of his deal.
Pringle is a familiar name to the Nets after working out for the team ahead of the 2026 NBA Draft. He ultimately went undrafted before joining the Boston Celtics for Summer League.
His time with Boston was limited, but he made the most of the minutes he received. Pringle did not play in Boston's first game and saw just 57 seconds in the second game. He then played 13 minutes in the Celtics' third game, finishing with six points and five rebounds.
After another DNP in Game 4, Pringle received 20 minutes in Boston's final Summer League game. He finished with four points, five rebounds, four assists, two steals and three blocks.
The 6-foot-10 Pringle spent the 2025-26 season at Arkansas after previously playing at Alabama and South Carolina. With the Razorbacks, he appeared in 35 games and started 33, averaging 4.6 points and 3.9 rebounds in 19.0 minutes per game while shooting 72.9 percent from the field.
Pringle's best statistical season came at South Carolina in 2024-25, when he averaged 9.5 points and 6.3 rebounds in 32 games while shooting 57.2 percent from the field. He also averaged 1.1 assists, 0.5 steals and 0.4 blocks per game.
Across his college career, Pringle played 152 games with 81 starts, averaging 5.6 points and 4.3 rebounds while shooting 64.9 percent from the field.
Pringle also gives the Nets another connection to Alabama. He joins Noah Clowney, Keon Ellis and Grant Nelson as former Crimson Tide players currently in the Brooklyn organization.
For now, the exact details of Pringle's contract remain unknown. His previous workout with Brooklyn and his Summer League experience with Boston give the Nets a chance to get another look at a 24-year-old, 6-foot-10 frontcourt player who has experience playing in the SEC and across multiple college programs.
If Pringle's deal is an Exhibit 10 contract as expected, his next stop could be Long Island as he looks to work his way toward an NBA opportunity with Brooklyn. More details on his contract should clarify his role with the organization once the terms are officially reported.
