The Brooklyn Nets sharpshooter responded to his NBA All-Star Weekend invitation with tying a league rookie mark against the Suns.

Egor Demin shattered one mark this week already: Ending the Brooklyn Nets' seven-season streak of failing to produce a Rising Stars game invitee.

Now he tied an NBA rookie mark on the first night since his NBA All-Star weekend invitation.

The first rounder helped birth the nickname "3gor" on Tuesday night against the Phoenix Suns despite the 106-102 loss on Tuesday. But there's a new reason behind the nickname...

Demin ended up tying a league rookie mark at the 51.3 mark of the second quarter: 33 straight games featuring a made three-pointer.

Demin hit three different baskets from behind the arc -- including this one during the fourth quarter:

Demin even received love from a past Nets great turned NBA on NBC analyst Vince Carter:

Demin joins elite company: Tying Rudy Fernandez and Landry Shamet as the only players to nail a three through 33 consecutive games in their rookie season.

Despite a rough 2025-26 season, Demin formed instant chemistry with Michael Porter Jr on the floor that one NBA analyst has witnessed.

"Michael Porter Jr. and Egor Dëmin are truly a nuclear shooting duo. Only Brooklyn, Denver, Minnesota, Boston, and Phoenix have duos who shoot 6.2 3PA per game on 38.9% shooting from three or better," posted Billy Reinhardt on the social media website X, formerly known as Twitter.

Demin engaged in one heated moment, though.

He's shown to push off a Suns player during a possession fight on the floor for the basketball. Two members of the Suns confronted him and a scuffle ensued. Demin got slapped with a technical foul alongside Porter Jr. and Terance Mann during the fourth quarter.

Demin still managed to score 15 points (nine off threes) and played 31 minutes on the floor. He pulled in five rebounds and dished out three assists. He joined Mann and MPJ as the Nets starters who earned 30+ minutes.

He was also one of four Nets players to reach double figures on the evening -- joining lead scorer Porter (36) plus Ziaire Williams and Cam Thomas, who scored 11 points apiece.

Unfortunately his night ended in aggressive fashion with the huge scuffle. Though he matched NBA history beforehand, which gives him new momentum to close out January strong.
