After dominating the Big East with elite efficiency, this prolific lefty scorer offers the offensive punch Brooklyn needs to bolster its backcourt depth in the second round.
The Brooklyn Nets seem like they are leaning towards adding to the front court with the No. 6 overall pick, which likely means adding back court depth later in the draft.

In this profile, I will highlight Providence guard Jaylin Sellers, who led the Big East in scoring last season (18.3 PPG).
Scoring Champ
After missing most of his senior season with injury, Sellers transferred to Providence for his fifth-year, showing growth and improvement across the board.
As the Big East scoring champion, Sellers eclipsed 20 or more points on 14 occasions, shooting at scorching 47/43/86 splits.
In a double overtime victory over Butler, Sellers scored a season-high 36 points, adding six rebounds and three steals.
Sellers hit big shots down the stretch to force extra time, capitalizing in a big conference matchup.
The former UCF Knight started his career with Ball State before transferring to Orlando in 2023.
That season, Sellers was a top-five scorer in the Big 12, averaging just under 16 points per game.
The biggest growth in Sellers' game came from distance, as he improved his 3-point shooting by over 13 full percentage points with the Friars.
3-Level Scorer
While Sellers' perimeter shooting took a significant jump, the 6-foot-5 lefty likes to do his damage in the mid range and paint, using decisive moves at the point of attack to get downhill.
Sellers doesn't waste movements, getting into defenders and creating space.
After a Big 12 Honorable Mention with the Knights, Sellers made the Second Team All-Big East in Rhode Island, adding to his collegiate achievements.
Areas For Improvement
Sellers is a volume scorer, which limits his playmaking ability.
While his 1.6 assists per game were a career-best last season, that won't be enough to keep him on the court at the next level.
Draft Projection
Seller is currently ranked as the No. 99 player on ESPN's big board, but should see improvements in stock as more teams get a look at him.
The Sacramento Kings worked out Sellers recently, where he told attending media he is confident he "can figure out his way" in the NBA.
Sellers said he wants to be a do-it-all guy, mentioning Alex Caruso as a player he wants to emulate.
Are Nets a Fit?
While Sellers is one of the older players in the class (23), his experience has allowed him to grow along his college journey.
The Nets would benefit from Sellers' improved shooting and overall scoring ability.
